On behalf of the Providence Festival of Trees Committee and Providence Foundations of Oregon, we are delighted you will be joining us for the 35th annual Providence Safeway Festival of Trees Gala Dinner and Auction presented by The Shiley Foundation, Portland’s premier holiday event. This magical evening on Thursday, November 30th will celebrate the season and provide support to Providence programs serving the vulnerable in our community.

We are pleased to provide the following details to make your evening as enjoyable as possible. 

5:00 p.m. Reception doors open

Start your evening off on the right foot and leave the parking to the experts. Kuni BMW is pleased to sponsor the valet parking for Gala guests. Valet parking is available at the Holladay Street entrance. 

Among the trees, enjoy hors d’oevres and hosted beverages, including signature cocktails.Trees are available for Buy It Now, silent auction areas are open for bidding, and tickets for the Treasure Chest and Pick of the Trees raffles are available for purchase.

6:45 p.m Buy It Now Closes 

6:50 p.m. Call to Dinner

7:00 p.m. Entertainment by Mac Potts and Bobbi Mckenzie

Master of Ceremonies Steve Dunn of KATU News and Auction Host Sam Hull are joined by talented auctioneer Johnna Wells.  

9:45 p.m. Closing remarks and drawing for Treasure Chest Raffle

If you find the perfect tree during the Gala reception or the VIP Sneak Peek, take the opportunity to buy it now! Complete the form at the tree with your bidder number and signature. Your tree will be marked with a “Sold” sign and removed from the auction.

The Buy-It-Now price for Providence includes a charitable donation to Providence.A complete list of trees eligible for Buy-It-Now will be available at the gala bank. 

Be sure to secure your tree in the Buy-It-Now program to remove it from eligibility in the Pick of the Trees Raffle.
